"How do you say? suppose the brahmin wake up while you steal the cows what about my work? your course of action would trouble me" the Brahmaraksshasa replied.
"Oh! you need not kill him first. While you do so the brahmin may shout. Then how can I steal the cows? It is better I do my work first" the robber said.
Both of them argued for a long time, The brahmin woke up.
Suddenly the robber said; "poor brahmin, the ghost has come here to eat you. Try to escape"
The Brahmaraksshasa got angry and said : "the robber has come here to steal your cows."
The poor brahmin chanted hymns and got relief from the ghost. Then he took a stick and beat and beat the thief. The robber ran away, the ghost went out.
