Once upon a time, two bunnies named Gimsy and Cripsy lived o the bank of a river. One day, their mother gave them a ball. "Yippee! Let's go to the riverbank, and play ball," said Gimsy. Cripsy agreed to this, and they started playing with the ball.
While they were playing, a monkey named Mity came by, and asked them, "Friends, will you let me play with you?"
"No!" replied Gimsy and Cripsy in one voice. Then, Cripsy kicked the ball hard. It suddenly fell into a hole in the ground. Cripsy and Gimsy were sad that their ball was out of reach.
Mity went up to them and said, "If you let me play with you, I'll help you get your ball back." Gimsy and Cripsy agreed to this at once. Mity brought buckets of water from the river, and poured them into the hole.
Lo! The ball soon floated up as the water rose. Gimsy and Cripsy picked up the ball happily. They thanked Mity and the three of them continued playing happily.
